Swiss Championship Snow Volleyball 2018

Registration You can register here on the website until Wednesday 21 February 17:00.
Condition Players are allowed to:

  • Have a Swiss or Liechtenstein passport
  • Are resident in Switzerland or Liechtenstein for at least 6 months
  • Have solved your first licence (volleyball or beach volleyball) in Switzerland

In order to be able to participate in the European Championship both players must have a Swiss passport.

Registration deadline Wednesday 21. ebruary 17:00 until then your registration must have arrived with us as well as the payment received
Free Sorry now it gets a little complicated:-) There are two logon options. Payment options. Depending on whether you have played internationally as a team or not. Please choose the right one for your team when you pay.

  • Team National players who only participate in the SM and have not yet paid an administration fee for Swiss volley
    • 30 CHF per player participation fee SM
    • 20 CHF per player administration fee Swiss volley total for a team 100 CHF
  • Team international players who have already participated in international tournaments and who have already paid the administration fees for Swiss volley
    • 30 CHF per player participation fee SM Total for a team 60 CHF

Teams with which only one player has played internationally, please report this when paying as a team national with the indication that the player [name] has to pay the Swiss volley amount. Included in the price is the easy drive from Engelberg station to Trübsee and back for both players. If you have any questions, please contact Dirk (dirk.decher@volleyball.ch)

Deposit The deposit must be made before the tournament, or be made with the registration. The registration is only valid after receipt of the payment and the payment alone does not apply as a registration. You have to do both. 
Game mode Double elimination, if the number of teams is not reached, the game mode can be adjusted.
Number of teams 16 Women and 24 men, 2 wildcards per sex awarded by Swiss volley. If qualifying tournaments are necessary, the winners of the qualification in the peloton are qualified as a wildcard. 
Rules According to CEV rules, best of 3, each set to 11 points, 2 points difference
Award ceremony Following the men’s finals match for men and women together
Qualification for the European Championship The winning team of the SM is automatically qualified for the European Championship should the team not meet the requirements of the CEV, the second placed team will be back.
Points for the CEV ranking (16.01.2018) We apologize that today we have received from CEV the message that there are no CEV points.  
 Entry List The registrations are sorted according to the date and time of the payment and when the tournament is full, a waiting list is maintained. Neither snow volleyball nor beach volleyball points are taken as a criterion for participation.
Player change There is no change of players without consequences for the SM after the registration deadline. If the tournament is full, the team will be pushed to the end of the waiting list. Otherwise, the team will be moved to the end of the entry
Unsubscribe Teams who unsubscribe after the registration deadline will lose the deposited entry fee.
 Seedings The betting is carried out according to current snow volleyball points. Teams without points are set or drawn after the beach ranking
Schedule The schedule is created on Friday evening and is visible from Saturday morning 8:00 on this website
Move Date On 12 February the OC decided to postpone the SM from 18 February to the postponement date of 25 February.
